Shop at the Carcross Commons

Shop at the Carcross Commons

Opened May to September, the Carcross Commons gathers 18 artisans’ boutiques, a restaurant, a coffee shop and a playground.

The Commons also hosts the Skookum Jim’s House, currently Parks Canada and Mac Bryde museum residence. Ask Parks Canada’s team about the Chilkoot Trail, the Gold Rush and, of course, Skookum Jim himself!

Don’t forget to stop by the Carving Shed, located between the Commons and the SS Tutshi. The local Master Carver Keith Wolfe Smarch will be happy to tell you the story behind the Carcross Totem Poles!
